Disable SEOquake in Google Chrome

Chrome makes it easy to switch an extension off without losing its settings. Click the puzzle-piece extensions icon in the toolbar, then choose Manage extensions. Alternatively type chrome://extensions into the address bar and press Enter. Find SEOquake in the list and click the blue toggle in the lower right corner of its card so it turns grey. The extension is now inactive and its overlays will disappear after you refresh any open tabs.

If you only want it disabled on certain sites, click Details on the SEOquake card and look for Site access. Change it from On all sites to On specific sites, then add only the domains where you want it active. This keeps the extension available for research while leaving the rest of your browsing untouched.

Disable SEOquake in Mozilla Firefox

Open the menu button at the top right and select Add-ons and themes, or press Ctrl and Shift and A together. Choose Extensions in the left sidebar, locate SEOquake and click its toggle to switch it off. Open the Opera menu and choose Extensions, then Extensions again, or go to opera://extensions in the address bar. Find SEOquake and click Disable beneath its entry. The card will grey out to confirm the change.
